Dr. Lucas Kohnke is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English Language Education at The Education University of Hong Kong. His qualifications include an EdD from Exeter University and multiple advanced certificates. Lucas has years of international and local English teaching experience at different grade levels, often focused on supporting the professional development of English teachers.
Lucas specializes in ELT methodology, and technology-supported teaching and learning. His extensive research focuses on EMI, language acquisition, and teacher professional development using emerging technologies, with his latest contribution to the literature being “Using Technology to Design ESL/EFL Microlearning Activities”.
In this roundtable, he will share with us some ideas about designing Microlearning activities using Generative AI tools.
